Prunella ‘Summer Daze’ represents an amazing step forward in the development of this neglected genus. This new hybrid makes a compact, semi-evergreen plant with masses of showy heads of large flowers in vibrant, rich pink. The oak-leaved shaped foliage is also attractive before it flowers in the spring. Summer Daze Self Heal features showy clusters of pink hooded flowers at the ends of the stems from late spring to early fall, which emerge from distinctive red flower buds. Its tomentose lobed leaves remain green in color throughout the season.
