Pesche’s Garden Center offers the most complete assortment of natural/organic products in the area as well as conventional curatives and amendments for your garden problems.
Not sure what the problem is? Put a sample of the leaf, branch or bug in a sealed bag and bring it into the main aisle in the garden center. Our staff will give you the proper diagnosis and cure. We have a digital microscope that goes into our computer that will show you the source of the problem be it an insect or fungus. Please understand that if you choose to call, it is often more difficult for us to accurately identify a problem over the phone.
We carry a variety of grass seed for Sun, Sun/Shade, Shade and Dense Shade along with mulch and great organic fertilizers and the proper advice to get your lawns in great shape. You’ll find a well stocked area with a selection of herbicides both organic and conventional. Again if you are not sure what kind of weed you have or how to control it, bring in a sample.
Our Garden Center offers a complete selection of Dr. Earth Organic products. Dr. Earth presents the only ProBiotic ® top ten organic fertilizers in the country. Back to Nature compost products are another one of our best sellers. Cotton burrs have been prized as a soil conditioner in the Southern U.S. for over 150 years. Cotton is a heavy feeder that drains the soil of nutrients as it grows. The nutrients eventually wind up in the fleshy seed pod, ‘boil’ or ‘burr’ of the cotton plant. When properly composted to eliminate weeds, insects, and pathogens, cotton burr compost is truly ‘nature’s perfect soil conditioner’. Back to Nature Cotton Burr Compost provides a rich food source for soil organisms. It is unsurpassed in its ability to break up clays and improves moisture retention and fertility in sands. It does not tie up nutrients like wood or wood by-products and is free from chemicals, weeds, insects and pathogens. We also stock Nature’s Blend with fine screened, composted cotton burrs, cattle manure, cottonseed meal, alfalfa meal, and sulfur (works great for veggie gardens). For your flower and rose beds use Flower Bed Conditioner containing fine screened, composted cotton burrs, cattle manure, cottonseed meal, alfalfa meal, and sulfur.
